I don't think so.
Very good service and cleanliness. However, the popcorn shrimp and the fish n chips were incredibly greasy and the fries in both dishes were terrible (they were obviously fried in old oil for too long).
Really nice food, the elk burger was a pleasant surprise to find.
We stopped in just ahead of closing time and were greeted with a warm smile and quick service. The brisket was fantastic. You can tell that they make their own sauce, baked beans, even French fries! We loved our meal and left very full and happy. We’d go back again in a heartbeat. Felt like it was almost a place you’d expect Anthony Bourdain would stop in on a diners and dives tour!
Good food. Friendly staff
Had a buffalo burger, and my wife had a chicken wrap. I also had a soda -$42.00. A little steep IMO, although place was nice and clean and great service.
Excellent service and good food.
Me and the hubs were driving through the highway and stopped for an early dinner. Everyone was no nice and friendly and the food was soooo good. The kimchi was *chefs kiss* and the spicy pork was so delicious. Even though we live like 3 hours away we will definitely be back. I would have added a photo but we ate too fast and I forgot to take one. 맛있어요!
The employees are very friendly. The food is good and reasonably priced.
Maybe the best burger I've had. Ever. I got The Marblemount with no onions. OMFG, it was absolutely amazing. I honestly don't think anything could ever top it. It's that good.
Totally awesome waiting happens here! Well worth the tip!
Fast, friendly service and we loved our food. I got vegetarian noodles and my boyfriend got a big burger. Vegetarian food available. Big portions. Highly recommend!
Great place for what it is--a no frills burger joint with a substantial Asian food menu catering to hikers, climbers, and other outdoor adventurers.Prices are okay, not super expensive and not super cheap.Good beer selection, including a back portion where you can buy beer and wine to take with you like a convenience store.Service was very friendly! The food is great after a long hike or climb, and as a plus every table has an insanely substantial selection of sauces.
Great vibes, shout outs to Mondo, if he was the busser he was terrific. He anticipated our dining needs well 👍
Quaint and delicious. I got the deep fried avacado and was impressed.
There is nothing better after a long day in the North Cascades than grabbing Teriyaki at Mondo's. They're super friendly, speedy service and the food is good
Breakfast TooWe came for breakfast and were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the wait staff and chef. Fluffy blueberry pancakes. Hammy ham and cheese omelet. Fresh mushrooms in Swiss omelet. Organic coffee. We ate breakfast so intensely we didn't get pictures. The owners are Korean so steak, hamburgers and teriyaki are offered.
Stopped by here on my way back to Seattle after 3 days in Winthrop. Great food. Loved the service. Will definitely stop by here again next time I drive through town.
Huge menu. Good eats. Super rad staff
Great place to eat after a long hike. The food tastes amazing and the service is fast. Plus, there is a store inside the restaurant so you can buy medicine and/or alcohol. This is very helpful in a very small town.
Busser was super friendly and filled up our water bottles for our long journey home! 😁 Good food too!
We ordered from both parts of the menu (Yakisoba Noodles from the Far East Section, and Hawaiian Burger from the Burgers), and everything was delicious.
Keeping up with the other Mega Mexican Regional Chain restaurants is not easy, but Lorenzo's pulls it off with machismo. :)
great mix of asian and American dishes. fast service, last place open heading west until Winthrop.
Despite the staff being friendly and helpful, the food had a lot of issues. My toddler ordered a 1 piece fish and chips meal, and within 2 hours threw it up with bad stomach pains. The Chicken Yakisoba tasted good but had a lot of oil in it. I could look past that, but not what happened to my child getting food poisoning.
Nice and clean. No sticky table and cozy atmosphere. Especially, I was impressed with the toilet. It was really clean. Various kinds of dishes and drinks including beers and wines. Basically, it’s American Restaurant, so there’s not so many Asian food, but Korean Galbi and Bulgogi were great. Give it a try! If you’re a big fan of Kimchi, ask to the server. If you’re lucky, you can have homemade gourmet Kimchi for free. ;) Will visit there again in near future.
The spicy chicken was fantastic! Service was great too!
The food is very good. It's a unique establishment. It used to be a grocery store in its former life. Now you can enjoy a casual meal of a variety of foods, stock up on beer and wine from a bunch of local and semi local places. You can also find souvenirs, shop for gifts, or pick up some staples you forgot to pack. The service is good and quick. The place is clean, offers every sauce option you can think of right there at your table. The bathrooms are probably the nicest in town with the hottest water in town. The food is delicious with good portions.
Very disappointing, there was a great selection of food however the burger we got was so greasy it was hard to keep together and the brisket just had a basic bottled BBQ sauce but that wasn't the issue. My issue was that I asked for no coleslaw and baked beans and asked to sub the soup instead. The waitress told me it didn't matter what the soup of the day was they were all canned anyway and the will have to charge extra because they only come in a bowl size. That's fine if it was like $.50 but they charged $2.00 even though I took off multiple things. Also never asked if we needed refills and had poor attentiveness when we were trying to pay our bill
The hamburgers and French fries are both amazingly good. Honestly, I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries and they both were the best I've had in a long time. Fries are huge, crispy and seasoned nicely. This will now be my stop any time we are heading through town. They also serve teriyaki and fried rice.
Very good food! Good portion sizes. It's a unique place with quick service.
The menu has way too many items and the waitress is very hard to understand. The food is ok.I do like they're hamburgers
I rarely write reviews but felt the need to give this place a shout out. We found ourselves broken down in Marblemount and in need of food and WiFi. Mondo was our savior. We were skeptical of the Far East Asian food but it was fantastic! The bulgogi was tender and just spot on. Their homemade teriyaki sauce was an added bonus for the rice. So good and a very solid wine/beer selection to boot.Additionally, they are taking the COVID pandemic very seriously. They had adequate social distancing in place between tables, limited group sizes, masks for all employees, and hand sanitizer available on every table. Top notch. But most importantly the hospitality was amazing. Our waitress even went as far as to offer us a place to camp on her property nearby if we weren’t able to get a tow that evening. It really made our stressful day that much better. We will be back for sure!
Ok food for being out in the middle of nowhere. The prices are a bit steep and the best tasting food seems to be the Chinese food. They have a great selection of craft bottled beers. The restaurant is very spacious with big table to accommodate large groups.
Pricey, but quite good as long as you stick to the Asian options
Really good food. Cooked well. Hot. Well seasoned. Good portion. A little pricey. 15 dollars for a burger. But that's mostly average now days. The only food for a while on the road so probably the best place to stop and eat! Clean and friendly staff too.
Awesome place. Prices are fair. Can also get a hand made knitted hat and scarf with insulated liner on the inside for 15 bucks. Flour knitted on and looks amazing.!
Amazing food the decor is amazing something old and new to see. Our visit was great and the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Servings sizes are perfect amount and I promise u will leave stuffed and happy.
Amazing ramen. Don’t know why people say “ the prices are too high” there food is amazing for the price
Nothing special about this place.Nothing outstanding nor signature food.No wait.Food come out fast.I wish I could say more but it's not the case.
Amazing service and amazing food
This place saved me! We burnt all our food camping and I was able to order in the last 10 minutes it was open. Had the western burger with fries. So good and not just because I was camping. Big and juicy burger with great fries. This place seems to have everything also general store essentials.
Great diner with friendly staff, very homely. Fast service, and the menu is a fusion of simple American, Korean, and Japanese dishes. I had the spicy pork, served in a sizzling cast iron pig-shaped skillet; it was great! They also have a little convenience mart!
Great food in the area. Korean owner so they have big selection of Asian menu and Asian fusion dishes. Very friendly staff. And surprisingly busy for such a small town.
Are breakfast each day of our stay in Marblemount. This place was great!
I ordered the Mondo burger and it was really good. The service was good too. Pretty pricey though, bill was almost $20 for myself and I didn’t even get a drink. But when you’re starving after a long day of exploring the beautiful mountains in the area I suppose a good meal is worth the price.
Food was okay. Service seemed rushed and impersonal. We felt as if we were being rushed out of the restaurant. But this is the only place with wifi nearby, so we had no choice.
We were returning from North Cascades after catching sunset and were pretty late, very close to their closing time. They were nice enough to order us food.Nice clean place with elaborate menu for a place in small town. Food was decent. I ordered pork ribs which were ok. Sides were really great. My friend ordered tofu burger and he really liked it.
Awesome food, great staff!! We are so happy we found this place. The Bulgogi and Ramen were amazing!
Nice small-town diner atmosphere. My friend and I ordered some very tasty blueberry pancakes with bacon and it was all quite tasty. Great place to get some calories in before or after a hike!
The staff was so attentive and accommodating. We brought in our party of 7 and were seated promptly. The food was tasty and served hot. Our cups were never empty and we didn't have to wait long for anything. The restaurant and facilities were clean and well maintained. My husband and I passed this restaraunt frequently and couldn't believe this was the first time we've stopped here. We've decided we'll stop again for sure.
